A Wedding!

Last night Eva was invited to her teacher Anavilly's wedding. It started at 8:15pm! Eva consented to a long nap in the afternoon, and that worked out nicely. Eva was excited at first, a little uncomfortable but smiling at the start of the photos, and kind of sullen by the end. Lots of people and action! All the kids were taken to sit in a section together for the ceremony. I managed to snag a seat right behind them. For a kid who likes to always know what to expect, it was pretty overwhelming. Eva asked several times to sit with me, but did end up staying with the class and doing well. At the end of the wedding, they had all the kids blow bubbles around the happy couple as they walked up the aisle out of the church. Fun! Eva was on a high afterward and needed a few minutes to play and read before she could think about going to bed. An experience to remember!
