Severe Storm!

Last night we had a severe storm here in Torreon!

Our back yard was white with hail!

Our bougainvilla bushes were stripped bare. We have three broken windows and holes in many of our screens. The little window in our front door blew out with such force that we found glass way over in front of our tv.

Andrew's car has quite a lot of hail damage, including a broken tail light. Mine has a number of dents. Our power was out for two hours. There is so much flooding at the entrances to our community that first thing this morning it was difficult to get out without a 4x4 vehicle.

The temperature dropped within minutes from 34 degrees celcius to 15 degrees. Winds were up to 70km/hr. We got 31mm of rain in one hour.

But we are all just fine and we are so grateful for that!
