Day of the Dead

In honour of el día de los muertos (Nov. 2), Eva had cooking class on Monday. Each child conjured up two sweet amaranth skulls. Eva was very excited about the whole thing. She thought it tasted fantastic and did her best to convince Micah. He really didn't care for it but dutifully choked his back in deference to his idol.
